Economic Insiders Warn Of System Failure Dead Ahead
With each passing day, systemic risks in the financial system become greater. Smart money insiders and billionaire investors are taking note – and taking defensive actions.
Mega-billionaire Carl Icahn, whose long-term track record is unrivaled, recently warned that “there will be a day of reckoning unless we get fiscal stimulus.” Icahn’s hedge fund is betting on a day of reckoning scenario. He has gone 150% net short the stock market while holding commodity-related positions to the long side.
International currency speculator and leftist financier George Soros has slashed his fund’s overall equity holdings by 25%. Like him or not, Soros is no dummy when it comes to the financial system. He is an establishment insider who apparently sees turbulent times ahead. He owns a not insignificant amount of gold, and his largest single equity holding now is Barrick Gold (NYSE:ABX), a major gold mining company.
“The system itself is at risk,” warns bond market wizard Bill Gross. In his latest market commentary, Gross cites “artificially high asset prices and a distortion of future risk relative to potential return.”…

NDAA 2017 Includes Draft For Women, Indefinite Detention Of American Citizens
The U.S. Congress has passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2017 with provisions that will force women to sign up for potential military draft and continues the practice of indefinite detention.
On Tuesday, the U.S. Senate approved a $602 billion annual defense budget that President Obama has promised to veto because the bill does not allow for the closing of the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Senate Bill 2943, the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017, passed with a vote of 85 Senators in favor and 13 against.
Before the vote, Senator John McCain tweeted that “It’s never been more urgent to give our troops the resources they need to succeed.” The majority of Congress have no issue taking money from the American people and redistributing it to fund their empire. The conflict arises when lawmakers begin debating whose pet projects are going to get a boost. The major conflicts in passing the bill stemmed from various amendments dealing with how the military budget will be spent.
One issue the entire Congress seemed to agree on was voting against closing military bases around the world. While the Pentagon called for budget cuts stating that the military has more space than they need, Congress refused to go along with the cuts. “Besides, several lawmakers have argued that the Pentagon has cooked the books to justify its conclusions or at least didn’t do the math completely,” the Associated Press reports. The Senate also voted against an amendment to close the infamous military detention center at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba…
If Obama REALLY wants to close Guantanamo, all he has to do is give the prisoners fair and speedy trials. But that might shatter the 9/11 myth and sequela such as the Patriot Act, the Afghanistan War, etc.
Alleged Orlando Shooting Suspect Worked For A Security Firm
UPDATE: I just heard a reporter on MSNBC telling a story related to him by a victim’s father. He said he was wounded, shot in the leg, fell on the ground and got trampled. Said his kid saw a report on TV which showed a picture of the alleged shooter and he claimed he saw him that night at the bar drinking. So this guy who hates gays is at the bar, wearing a vest and carrying an AR-15 and drinking at the bar with gays? What?
UPDATE: Only 4 people named as victims of the shooting. Not much is known about any of them.
UPDATE: Suspect, Omar Mateen, worked for private global security company, G4S for the past 9 years or so. You mean to tell me this guy who liked to wear NYPD shirts, who’s father was a wannabe big wig in Afghanistan and who worked for one of the largest for-profit security companies in the world, just “went off” and decided to kill gay people because he saw a couple kissing a few months back and then dedicated himself to “ISIS”? Is that really the fucking story? Really?
Oh wait… he had been investigated by the FBI twice since 2013 for supposedly making “terrorist sounding threats”… and yet he was still working for G4S? bullshit…

The shooting event in Orlando on June 12th demonstrated features that were present in numerous recent terrorist acts. For example the suspect was quickly killed and the official account immediately attempted to blame the attacks on Islam. However, as with most terrorism in the U.S., the suspect Omar Mateen had suspicious links to the FBI. He also worked for a company with suspicious links to prior terrorist events.
Like many of the suspects in recent terrorist events, Mateen was well known to the FBI. In fact the Bureau had interviewed him several times and had evaluated his potential for terrorism on at least three occasions. This fact is noteworthy considering that both before 9/11, and since then, FBI leaders appear to have facilitated many terrorist acts.
Although U.S. authorities claim that Mateen pledged allegiance to ISIS “in the midst of the attack,” Mateen’s family were surprised at the claim that he had any connection to a radical terrorist group. In fact, they said he was not particularly religious…

Egyptair Flight MS804
Turns out, Egyptair Flight MS804’s flight path took them right through the area they were holding the Phoenix Express 2016 joint naval drills in the Mediterranean Sea.
“This year’s exercise control group will be hosted at the NATO Maritime Interdiction Operations Training Center (NMIOTC) located in Souda Bay, Greece, but training will take place throughout the Mediterranean to include North African nations’ territorial waters.” Navy.mil

Truth is, we still don’t know what happened to this airliner and speculation does no one any good. But, I think when information this critical is available, we need to report on it. Especially when you consider the nature of the drills themselves…
