Barack Obama would like you to believe that he’s a champion for the middle class, but it’s not true. For the last 3 and a half years, the president has worked almost exclusively for his constituents– constituents that do not include ordinary working people like you and me. Obama has done nothing to reverse the widening wealth gap or challenge establishment elites who now control all the levers of political power. Instead, he has largely followed in the footsteps of his predecessor, George W. Bush, making every effort to further enrich the industries and financial institutions to which he is indebted.
