Ancient Metropolis Found In Africa

Don’t agree with the dating method, but it’s old.

“When Johan first introduced me to the ancient stone ruins of southern Africa, I had no idea of the incredible discoveries we would make in the year or two that followed. The photographs, artifacts and evidence we have accumulated points unquestionably to a lost and never-before-seen civilization that predates all others — not by just a few hundred years, or a few thousand years… but many thousands of years. These discoveries are so staggering that they will not be easily digested by the mainstream historical and archaeological fraternity, as we have already experienced. It will require a complete paradigm shift in how we view our human history. “

What is your issue with the timeline on this site?

  2. My objection is a combination of geometry and history. We inherited the convention of a circle of 360 degrees from a time when the year was 360 days long. The number of degrees in a circle could have been 720 or any other number, but the ancients used the cycle of the Earth around the Sun as a standard. Moreover, there is evidence that at one point the year was even shorter. Therefore using the progression of today’s alignment of Orion’s belt relative to the Earth is not valid. The authors did not report any references found to dynastic Egypt, which began about 3100 BCE, and therfore, I think that the site predates that time.

BTW, there is copious documentation of the change in the length of the year from around the world IN HISTORICAL TIMES in Velikovsky’s work. There is also evidence that the Earth turned over with North and South Poles exchanging places. Here is an example: The [Egyptian] priests [Speaking to Herodotus] asserted that within historical ages and since Egypt became a kingdom, “Four times in this period the sun rose contrary to his won’t; twice he rose where he now sets, and twice he set where he now rises.” The priests went on to say that the Greeks were still childish. The Greeks of that time were not of swarthy complexion. They were blond and blue eyed, the “fair-haired Achaeans.” Recall the recently posted article that blue eyes started 6-12,000 years ago!

Given the above, I think you understand why I disagree with the dating method that was used by the authors.
