    I don’t doubt the 16% figure. Assuming 16% to be true, where would you put the “underemployment” figure?

  2. To some degree, the 16% figure comprehends underemployment, since it ostensibly includes part-time workers seeking full-time employment. I think the number would rise to over 20% if you factor in the recent college grads who cannot get salaries that are sufficient to liquidate their student loans and people working full-time in jobs with salaries that are a fraction of former salaries.
